Camiguin

The island off the northern coast of Mindanao in the Philippines is also called „the island of fire” due to the presence of several volcanoes.

The cave also has a natural light source, as sunlight enters through smaller openings in the ceiling, illuminating the cave’s interior and creating special light effects. Although the cave’s interior is relatively small, it attracts visitors with its special atmosphere, natural beauty, and swimming opportunities.

El Nido

Located in the northern part of Palawan Island, it’s one of the most famous tourist destinations in the country.

Its surroundings include more than 50 islands and rocks with crystal clear lagoons, beautiful beaches, and lush vegetation. Among the most famous are the Big Lagoon, Small Lagoon, and Secret Beach, all of which are special natural wonders.

The underwater world around El Nido is also amazing. The coral reefs and clear waters around the islands provide excellent opportunities for diving and snorkeling. The marine life here includes turtles, various fish species, and colorful corals.

Chocolate Hills

The hills are considered one of the world’s most unique geological formations.

It consists of more than 1200 hills. They are characterized by their regular cone shape, and these mountains, which originally formed from coral reefs, now form a special landscape. The name refers to the color of the hills, as during the dry season, the green vegetation turns yellowish-brown, resembling chocolate.

The height of individual hills varies but generally ranges between 30 and 50 meters. There are several viewpoints in the area offering wonderful panoramic views.

Tagaytay

A picturesque city about 60 kilometers southwest of Manila. Due to its high elevation, it’s a popular resort for locals as well.

Its most famous attraction is the Taal Volcano. Known as one of the world’s smallest but still active volcanoes. Lake Taal, located in the caldera, was formed during the volcano’s eruption. Visitors can enjoy the breathtaking panorama from the Tagaytay Picnic Grove and People’s Park in the Sky viewpoints.

The city is a popular place for weekend trips due to its cool climate and scenic views.

Kawasan Falls

One of the Philippines’ most spectacular waterfalls is located on the island of Cebu.

It consists of three stages. The lower waterfall, Kawasan Lower Falls, is the most visited, where you can swim or have a picnic. The middle section is Kawasan Middle Falls, and the uppermost section is Kawasan Upper Falls.

The hike to the waterfall consists of a pleasant walk, crossing small streams and jungle paths.
